How They Work

Enterprise Package Tracking Systems improve your package delivery operation.

Receive Package: The receiving department scans in the packages using the same barcodes used by the carrier. Packages are matched to the intended recipient. The receiver does this by using the workstation and/or portable scanning hardware. Customizable screens allow each user to make this process quick and easy. Image capture capability allows the receiver to attach digital images to the record for damaged packages.

Notify Recipient: The receiver notifies the package recipient of the package for pick-up or delivery. E-mail notifications automate this process.

Store Package: The package is then stored awaiting the pick-up or delivery. The system tracks the storage location.

Deliver Package: If flagged for delivery, the receiver then follows a streamlined routing specified by the system. Using wireless technology, users can check the status of their package real-time through a web interface.
